Telehealth Marriage Counseling & Couples Therapy

Marriage Counseling

If your marriage has been hurt by any number of issues ranging from infidelity to just feeling stuck in a rut, it can be time for marriage counseling. You don’t have to experience a traumatic event to justify getting help. The goal of counseling is to reconnect with your partner. Rather than becoming defensive, criticizing or withdrawn, you can work with a professional to structure a plan for recovering emotional connection in your marriage.

Couples Therapy

You might be embarking on a new marriage or in a long-term partnership. Either way it can be helpful to work with a professional therapist if you feel like something is wrong between you and your loved one. There are ups and downs in any relationship. The key to long-lasting connection is knowing when to ask for help. Having a neutral third party is often necessary to stay on track, and eliminate unnecessary arguing that spirals out of control.

Family Therapy

The entire family can be affected by a tumultuous marriage. Kids are smart and they pick up on tension in the household. Rather than ignoring problems, it’s most helpful to address hurt feelings with a trained professional. A counselor can offer skilled guidance for resoling family issues for both parents and children. Learn how to constructively resolve problems and prevent ongoing resentments from forming.

Individual Relationship Counseling

Sometimes it’s better to work with a counselor individually. This gives you a safe space to disclose sensitive issues affecting your relationships. Discover ways to change your own behaviors and better understand what you want in a relationship. Find out how to overcome destructive patterns. Create the version of yourself that you want be.

“You Have Been a Blessing”

“I just wanted to send you a note to let you know how much I appreciate all the work that you are doing with my son.
He seems to be more stable and happier…wonderful first steps.
I am grateful to you for helping him to see that he is really a very good, kind, compassionate, thoughtful, smart, strong individual.
It’s been a long time coming.  You have been a blessing and I am very grateful.”

GRATEFUL MOTHER – DENVER, CO

“Personal Awareness and Understanding”

“Working with Matthew Jarvis brought personal awareness and understanding to the options and resources that support families that have a loved one that is challenged with the courage to change. As a family member that lost someone to an overdose, I have a better respect and understanding for the support and expertise that is needed and was found through his counseling. Don’t put off what can be saved today as tomorrow is not promised…A life is a terrible thing to waste.”
